Our doors are constructed entirely from high-tensile cold-rolled seamless steel sections, offering superior strength and resilience. We do not use aluminium, plastic, or folded sheet materials at any stage of production.
Main framework is fabricated from 100 × 50 × 2mm mild steel box sections, fully welded and ground to a smooth finish.
Inset doors use 2mm European rolled steel modular sections, providing structural integrity and a refined appearance.
Glazing beads are formed from 20 × 20mm steel hollow sections, fixed internally with tamper-resistant stainless steel screws or rivets.
Solid infill panels are made from 3mm Zintec-coated steel, internally secured using fabricated box cassettes and stainless steel security fixings.
-
Each component is shot-blasted, zinc primed, polyester powder sealed and top coated in a high-quality polyester powder finish. Our standard offering includes any RAL Classic colour, with other options available on request.
-
All doors are fitted with full-length stainless steel continuous hinges with a 12mm knuckle and double staggered fixing configuration. Hinges are secured using M5 stainless steel anti-vandal screws for long-lasting performance.
-
We install LCN 4111 heavy-duty surface-mounted closers, featuring anti-vandal covers and compliant with accessibility standards:
Opening force not exceeding 30N from 0° to 30°, and 22.5N from 30° to 60°.
Closers are installed to a minimum 100mm frame head to allow future upgrades to automated operation where required.
-
Each door includes the following specification:
Offset D handle (solid stainless steel, 225mm long) mounted at 1000mm above finished floor level
Grade 304 DP1 stainless steel kick plates, fitted internally and externally
Push plates and anti-vandal security fixings throughout
Components are compliant with BS 8300 (2009) for inclusive design
-
All doors are fitted with twin or triple Assa Abloy/Securitron magnetic locks, side-fixed and fully concealed. These locks are integrated with centralised access systems and controlled via secure fob entry—removing the need for mechanical locking components. Other locking options are available on request.
Internal beading and fixings prevent tampering, while concealed security elements help maintain a clean and durable finish.
-
Where specified, glazed panels are installed using 3mm glazing tape and quality silicone, secured with steel beading. Laminated or polycarbonate glazing is available depending on the application. Bin store doors can be manufactured with custom louvre-panel designs, allowing airflow while maintaining structural strength and deterring misuse.
-
Frames are securely fixed into place using M8 Metal wall anchors at 600mm intervals (max). All joints are fully welded and ground smooth. Fixings are fully concealed to ensure tamper resistance and a clean aesthetic.
